Channel 4 posted its biggest deficit of all time last year in what was a chastening financial year, with content boss Ian Katz deciding to reject his bonus. The Gogglebox network, which at the start of 2023 avoided being sold off by the government, revealed a deficit of £50M ($65M) for full-year 2023.
Spain: 4m Watch Time-Shifted TV Daily (Advanced-Television)
An average of 4 million people in Spain watch day time-shifted TV content on a daily basis, with an accumulated audience of 20.5 million viewers in September, according to a report from the firm Barlovento Comunicación. Out of those 4 million, 26 per cent dedicated less than 30 minutes to time-shifted content.
