‘Jeopardy!’: Stephen Fry To Host Rebooted ITV Version Of U.S. Classic (Deadline)
Stephen Fry is to host an ITV reboot of iconic NBC gameshow Jeopardy!. The show, which will air as a 20-part order in the daytime, sees contestants using general knowledge skills to win rounds and amass winnings.
Forecast: SVoD Revenues At $124bn By 2028 (Advanced-Television)
Global SVoD revenues will reach $124 billion (€117.3bn) by 2028, up from $99 billion in 2022 according to the SVoD Forecasts Update report from analyst firm Digital TV Research. The US will add $5 billion of the $25 billion additional revenues between 2022 and 2028.

The Wavemaker study shows that the reach of Netflix among VOD subscribers at the end of 2022 was 74 percent. In the case of HBO Max, it is 24 percent, Player 21 percent, Disney+ 20 percent, and Amazon Prime Video 11 percent. According to Nielsen, in the first three weeks of January, the reach of the platform on Smart TVs alone was 8.93 million (Disney+ 2.56 million, HBO Max less than 2 million, Amazon Prime Video 1.52 million, Player 1.49 million).

Young People Now Prefer To Watch TV With The Subtitles On (Broadband TV News)
Close to three in ten Britons (28%) watch TV or films with the subtitles on – even when the content is in their own language. The study by the pollsters YouGov found that most 18 to 24-year-olds (61%) will watch TV with subtitles on screen.
MultiChoice Ups DStv Domestic Prices (Digital TV Europe)
South Africa-based pay TV operator MultiChoice has upped the price of its domestic DStv packages, with the new prices set to take effect from April 1. Netflix Launches Programme To Upskill Television Producers In Saudi (Gulf Business)
The seven-week creative producer training programme will be available exclusively through the University of Southern California (USC) School of Cinematic Arts (SCA).
The initiative will take participants through the process of creating, forming, and executing a TV pitch, pilot script, and writer’s room. It is being led by SCA alumni and film/television writer and producer, Jason Shuman.
