Netflix Announces 24 Nordic Titles (Netflix)
During the stage show at Next on Netflix in Stockholm today, Netflix unveiled a stellar line-up of new and exciting Nordic titles coming in the next few years, such as a Norwegian series about Harry Hole, written by Jo Nesbø himself, a series adaption of Amanda Romare's novel Diary of a Ditched Girl with Carla Sehn in the leading role and a film adaption of Alex Ahndoril’s The Key Series. Fans will also be reunited with some of their favorite characters in a standalone sequel to The Chestnut Man and Barracuda Queens 2.
Forecast: W Europe OTT Revenues €44bn By 2029 (Advanced-Television)
Western European OTT TV episode and movie revenues will reach $48 billion (€44bn) in 2029, up from $31 billion in 2023, according to the Western Europe OTT TV & Video Forecasts report from analyst firm Digital TV Research.

Amazon has struck first-of-its-kind deals with Japan’s Nippon TV and BBC for podcasts. The former tie-up will see Nippon’s ACMA: GAME drama series stream on Prime Video Japan starting April 7, immediately after Nippon TV's Sunday primetime air slot, with global streaming of the series to follow on Prime Video two weeks later. Hulu Japan will also stream the series immediately after Nippon TV’s broadcast as part of the unusual deal.
Buyers In France & Germany Snag Remake Rights For NRK’s ‘Cammo’ (TBI Vision)
Nordic comedy Cammo could be set for remakes across Europe after format rights were struck in five territories, including France and Germany. The scripted comedy format has been acquired by Banijay Studios France and Studio Hamburg in Germany, with Satisfaction Iberia in Spain, ITV in the Netherlands and Heartmade Media in Belgium also securing remake rights.
Altice Media Being Sold To CMA CGM For €1.55bn (Sportcal)
French broadcasting group Altice Media is on the verge of being sold to heavyweight shipping firm CMA CGM, it has been confirmed. CMA CGM, owned by French-Lebanese billionaire Rodolphe Saade, will pay an enterprise value of €1.55 billion ($1.69 billion) for Altice Media, which runs the RMC Sport subscription broadcaster.
SPI International Brings Dizi To Sweden With Allente (Advanced-Television)
SPI International, a Canal+ company, has announced the launch of its Dizi channel and Dizi on-demand content on the Nordic entertainment company Allente’s platform.
