Actor Park Hae-soo To Host Episode Six Of ‘SNL Korea 3’ (Korea Joongang Daily)
Park is best known for his roles in Netflix’s “Squid Game," “Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area” (2022) and most recently, "Suriname." The actor was also in the Netflix film “Yaksha: Ruthless Operations” (2022). Earlier this year, Park received his first Emmy nomination for supporting actor in a television series for "Squid Game." He is set to appear in a movie titled "Phantom" set for local theater premiere on Jan. 15.
EU Bans More Russian Channels (Broadband TV News)
The European Union has added four more Russian TV channels to the list of those it has already sanctioned.
In a statement on its ninth package of restrictive measures against Russia since the latter invaded Ukraine on February 24, it says that “we have added NTV, Pervyi Kanal, Rossiya 1 and Ren TV (to the list) because they are all either Russian State-owned or under the Kremlin’s influence and disseminate Russian disinformation and propaganda. Previously, Russia Today, Sputnik RTR Planeta, Rossiya 24 and TVCI were sanctioned”
Glad I could help. I saw some of their stuff when they did a presentation to the TCA last year and really enjoyed what I saw. I've been waiting for them to roll out onto more platforms in the U.S.
They have their work cut out for them. It's a crowded market and unlike in Europe, they don't have the live networks or sports coverage to bring in subscribers.
