It’s week one of my newest feature, where I answer questions from readers.

As a reminder, anyone can ask a question. But only paid subscribers can see the entire newsletter.

So let’s get started….

Q: It sounds like you watch a lot of television as your job. So what do you watch if you just want to relax?

A: It’s a great question, because unfortunately a lot of time I have to review shows that I would otherwise watch for fun. So it can be a challenge. To be honest, one of the reasons why I began watching so many global TV shows was that I wanted to find something I could lose myself in and not feel the need to review it. Unfortunately, that “no reviews” idea didn’t last long.

My son and I tend to watch a bit of TV together most nights after I finish my newsletter. He enjoys history and doesn’t have a long attention span. So our go-to shows as The Curse of Oak Island and Antiques Roadshow.

When it’s just me (or my wife and I), we watch a fair amount of food and home-related FAST channels. PBS…
