The Peter Principle is alive and well in higher education, too.
I have no data to back up my opinion that some of these honchos in charge of programming don’t really understand their viewership. The heavy mixing of scripted programming with unscripted shows ignores the fact that (I think) people who prefer scripted shows don’t want to watch a bunch of unscripted competitions, etc.
Making it difficult to find TMC is something that I am particularly bitter about.
Zaslav is a prime example of the Peter principle and also one of the prime architects of the dismantling of the golden goose of the cable bundle and cable channels to try and duplicate Netflix…a colossal failure!
