The CW originals everyone loves were a money sink for the network. But what made them profitable was the big output deal with Netflix. Once they walked away from that to keep the streaming rights for their own streaming services, the network's co-owners couldn't afford to produce them.

It looks like Warner is producing nothing. I think they missing all those CW shows. They were cheap and probably turned up a profit
